Chapter 54. Come Home with Me

Ezrah had made a lot of mistakes by acting rashly, including letting Michelle go. He felt that he should have handled things differently back then.

Piper messed up his life, so how could he make it so easy for her? She might just escape from the hospital.

“No, it’s obvious that she would run away if you show your face. I will be on the lookout for any event and invite you over. You’ll get to see her then, but I have to warn you that she has to pay for denying me my child.”

Sebastian sank into the sofa, his hopes crashed. This was not the way he wanted to meet his sunshine. “Are you sure it’s her? What if it’s someone who looks like her?”

It was still hard to believe because they were both in love. Piper could not just betray him like that, right? Seeing no headway with Sebastian, Ezrah dialed Piper’s number and activated the speaker button. It was answered on the first ring.

“Ezrah, are you still with Michelle? It’s so late, and you have not been here.”
