Chapter 42. Bruised Family

After dinner with the Jayden family, Carter followed Audrey to her room. His eyes scanned around the whole room and stopped to pick up a picture of her from when she graduated from college. “ You look ugly here” He teased, but Audrey was too angry to even look at him. When they were having dinner, Ella suddenly became a good girl, trying to serve Carter while flaunting herself to him. Yet, Carter didn't reject any of her offers, which made Audrey more furious.
