Chapter 66. Secrets Known to Him

Mr. Cornell retired upstairs to his room on the third floor as Davis followed behind carrying a box. 

The sound of a door opening and then shutting could be heard as Davis dropped the box he was carrying on the desk in the mini office in Mr. Cornell's room. “ Sir! Carter and his wife are here, your mother invited them over for the weekend ”.

“ I see… The fake wife is here, looks like it is time I have a little chit-chat with her. You are dismissed ”.

“ Yes, Sir ”. Davis exits the room while Cornell goes to his dresser and takes off the thick suit he has been wearing the entire day. Audrey let the maid dish out the entire dish on the dining table, Grandma Nana, who had been in the living room all this while, couldn't hide her excitement as she surged over to the large dining room. “ Hm… Audrey, this smells so nice, I can't wait to have a taste of it, it must be delicious”.

“Grandma, we cannot know for certain yet, I will go and inform Carter that the tabl
