Chapter 84. A Dangerous Man

Carter had Audrey wrapped around his arm while they both sat at the hospital bed when his phone beeped, showing a message that just came through. 

Carter unlocks his phone and reads through the message while she bluntly stares at him. ‘ Boss, the gunmen have been apprehended and are in our custody, I have sorted out the cops and await your instructions’.

“ I just got a message from James, the gunmen have been apprehended”.

“ Really! Did they say who sent them? ”.

“ We are yet to find out, but I will get to the bottom of it and will make sure that such a thing does not happen to you next time”.

“ Thank you so much, Carter, are we still going to Paris tomorrow? ”.

“ If you are still up for it, then why not! ”. He exclaimed and she chuckles softly at him.
