He felt as if the ground should open up and allow him to enter and hide. At the very least, everything will come to an end. Peace.

Perhaps his body sensed that his owner was soon gonna leave him and began reacting as early as possible in a bid to make him change his mind. But is that possible?
His legs became too heavy to move. It was as if something was holding him stuck to the ground. The fear of death I guess.
Tears, urine, sweat, headache, chest pain, wobbly legs, and regret. All was his.
The whole elements of nature were against him. Pleading with him to repent of the action he was about to take.
But his ego was as high as the sky and he couldn’t let it drown. Better to die and not face their curses than to live and face the rest of your life in shame.
