Chapter 43. We Shall See

"So you are the richest man in Virginia that I’ve been hearing about lately? The man who got beaten hands down by an anonymous tycoon several times in the just concluded bidding war?" Louis asks, staring at Mr. Santiago with a small smile.

Mr. Santiago gulps and lowers his head, embarrassed to say anything.

He feels insulted and if it was someone on his level, he would have chased the asshole out of his house but it is Louis Rodriguez, what can he do?

Ignoring Mr. Santiago’s expression, Louis glances around the room as if he is looking for something or perhaps someone, and when his gaze drops to the person, he smiles a bit wildly and brings out a long list from his pocket and hands it over to Mr. Santiago who hurriedly accepts it.

Seeing this list, Mrs. Avery’s eyes sparkle and before Mr. Santiago can properly take a look, she grabs it from him and glances over it. "What?!" Her jaw drops, excitement sizzling through her.
