Chapter 52. Trouble!

Maya glances at Mr. Santiago at the last statement and drops the note. "That is all, sir." She says, her pretty face breaking into a wide smile. "I’m so happy for you—for us, sir! Congrats to you and us. This is great news. Woohoo!" She makes a quick body dance and giggles.

Mr. Santiago laughs at her poor dancing skills and pats her on the shoulder. "I’m as much as happy as you are, Maya but I’m just wondering why the Scion of the Millers will come himself to offer a contract to us and why he will do it a day after we quarreled."
