Chapter 56. No Offense Taken
Lucien chuckles as he glances toward the waiter, not a bit moved by his tone and expression. "I guess I’m deaf then because I’m not leaving till I’m done." He sneers and stares away from the waiter relaxing even more into the couch.
The waiter takes a step backward and raises a brow at him, seemingly taken aback by his reply. ‘Is this man serious?’ He wonders and suddenly rushes out.
Almost immediately, he comes back but with a man who has a tag ‘Supervisor’ on his shirt. The man should be in his mid-forties.
"That’s him," the waiter points at Lucien. "He is the pauper who refused to leave and is still adamant even after I asked him to. Should I call up the guards on him, sir? People like him deserve to be treated like dogs because that’s what they are."
The supervisor sizes up Lucien and shakes his head. "Let me talk to him first. If he still refuses to leave then you can do as you please." He says and walks in front o
