Mandy glanced sideways at Verona as She, Jeremy and the witch walked towards the swamp escorted by the beta. When Jeremy had dropped the news about Dominic's hideout, she was elated. When he had dropped the source of information, she was dumbfounded. She trusted Jeremy and trust in his judgement but the appearance of the witch almost unnerved her. She had never seen a witch before. And although Verona was not the kind of scary witch she had seen in movies, she still had bad vibes. She noticed Jeremy was however calm and that seemed to placate her.

Mandy stared at the Beta and their eyes met. She also noticed him look at the witch in an unnerving manner. For some reason, that seemed to make her feel better. At least she wasn't the only one. Veron however took notice of their stares though she didn't show it. A small Sirk traced on her lips as she walked forward.
