"Vampire my arse, but I'm scared of mice," Ryan mocked as he grabbed Diana's hand as they continued walking. He uttered something and smiled. "Scaredy-cat!"

Even though she should have been opening her mouth at this point, she was terrified. When she sees this type of tunnel, she remembers their last journey out of the Dark Native cavern, away from the blazing inferno of earthquakes-like quaver that caused the earth to tremble. She has lost hope that they will no longer be affected by it, and whether they are vampires or not, it brings out the adrenaline she desired. She also missed the fact that she was a vampire. Powerful and unafraid, in contrast to the current state of being human, which is terrifying and worthless.
