Chapter 32

The following day at work, Nick came earlier than usual. He went straight to his office and got set for work. Very soon, some of the workers started driving in, and before 8 a.m., everyone, including Aria, was in their seats. But Aria observed something off about all the workers. They were all in the same uniform, a red shirt emblazoned with a coffee mug. Everyone was dressed in it with smiles on their faces, only she looked different. Then she observed another thing that shocked her: Kevin was around. He, too, was wearing the same red shirt with the same decoration.

“Kevin, what are you doing here?” she asked, confused. “You came to see someone?”

“Yeah, yeah, I came to see someone. I came to see you. You no longer drop by to take some coffee,” Kevin said.
