After Nick and Mike had left, Mrs. Kate came and told Aria to stop crying. She should rather be grateful that things are working out for the good of her and everyone.

“I don’t deserve this type of kindness,” Aria said.

“Good things don’t happen to us because we deserve them. Just be grateful, and be grateful too, that James is going to walk again; you don’t know how happy he is. This is a dream come true,” Mrs. Kate said.

“I never dreamt of it this way. Yeah, I dreamt of a happy life, a good family, and happiness, but this is too much. My life literally changed from all angles: financially, family, relationship, career, and whatnot. This is mind-blowing.”

“That’s his things should always end, my dear. If we start our lives in pain and sorrow, it should always lead to joy and happiness.”

Aria and Mrs. Kate went back to her mother’s room, and Aria sat beside her mother, held her by her palm, and felt the warmth of her mother’s touch again.
