Chapter 6

Zara's POV

When we got home, we were suddenly quiet. Lucas is already at home. Staring into space and drinking wine. He turns on the television, then switches the channel to where his girlfriend is currently being shown.

My son approached Lucas. "D-Dad, I'm watching cartoons."

He stared hard and cold at my son. Lucas gave Enrique the tablet.

"Watch that on YouTube. Don't bother me."

"But s-I'm following it there."

Lucas's anger at our son seemed to erupt like a volcano.

" CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND? JUST WATCH IT THERE! ON THE TABLET! YOU WILL INHERIT YOUR MOTHER'S ABORTION!"

I seemed to be frozen in place. I saw how Lucas yelled at our son. And my son looks scared and shocked. Lucas also seemed shocked by what he did but it was too late and our son passed out.

"Enrique son!"

I was shaking with anger and fear. I can't believe Lucas could do this!

I picked up my son and Lucas was about to grab him when I yelled at him.
