Thunder ignored the visible shock in Scarlet's eyes as he took a step closer to the group. "... I'm wondering, what's all this commotion in front of the sacred room?" His voice is calm but authoritative.

"King Alpha, these two wanted to enter the room, but the priestess specifically told us not to let anyone in until the inauguration is over," one guard responded politely while remaining bowed.

"King Alpha, this candle is not ordinary, so it needs to be inside before the full moon arrives," Lara explained, evilly looking at the guards.

The two guards immediately became terrified. "That's why we agreed to let one of them in," they explained quickly, fearful of Thunder.

Thunder then turns to look at Lara. "You, give the candle to the other girl because she appears to be more fragile than you," he orders.

Lara has no choice but to agree after seeing Thunder's arrogant expression. She handed Scarlet the other candle and said. "...remember, you need to light
