Chapter 81. Interruptions

LUCIUS' POV

"King Alpha," a voice said behind my back.

I turned around and looked at the owner of the voice.

"Gerald, do you have news?" I asked.

Gerald was my private investigator who I assigned to look for Uriah.

"Yes, King Alpha. I have some sensitive information for you," he said.

"Let's talk in my office then," I replied.

I motioned for him to enter my office. Once he was inside, I turned to face a worried-looking Maia.

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, it's just about the rogue issues. Nothing to worry about," I lied.

I couldn't let her know that it was about Uriah. She would worry about it and that was the last thing I wanted to happen.

"Okay, I'll be in my room," she said.

"I will be right there as soon as I am done here," I replied.

I watched her as she entered the elevator before going inside my office.

"What do you have for me, Gerald?" I asked, walking towards m
