Ashley thought his work for the day would be over quickly. 

All he wanted to do was see Garfield right away and spend the whole day with his boyfriend as compensation for his busy schedule over the past few days.

But this? This was beyond his control.

“The situation is chaotic! Chief, you'd better back off!”

What was actually happening? Until just now, Ashley was certain that the female journalist named Marla David was human, not a werewolf.

Ten minutes ago, he was still interviewing the woman in her human form.

“Chief! You should get out of there! It’s too dangerous!”

“Chief!”

He ignored the loud cries of Xavier, Gabriella, and Cain.

His gaze was fixed on Marla, who had now lost her human consciousness, allowing the newly emerged werewolf cells to take control of her.

Marla's powerful strength threw back some of Cain's troops.

“There seems to be no other choice. They are right. The Roderick werewolf clan must be
