Chapter 120. Vengeful

DANTE’S POV

Kent and I are planning for Veronica’s meeting with Adrian which is in a week’s time. Kent and I walk into Adrian’s room and hand him a phone so he can call Veronica and confirm the meeting and date.

Veronica answers as soon as he dials, and she sounds stressed. “The little doll you sent to us is not very pleasant to our guests, Adrian. If she doesn’t learn a thing or two soon, she’ll die.” The words make me flinch and lick my teeth in annoyance.

“But still, the majority of the buyers love her. They came to visit yesterday, and she recognized one of them.” Veronica says.

“She did?” Adrian asks in curiosity as he fakes up an authoritative voice. “Who did she recognize?” He asks.
