Chapter 14. Skeletons

ADELINE’S POV

I was reluctant to leave Dante’s house this evening but I had to force myself to remember that I have a life out of my infatuation with him. I skipped work today because I was so wasted but Dante Is not the only patient I have and I still have a job to worry about.

I’m particularly excited about the fact that Dante agreed to fake date me but he made it pretty clear to me that none of it will be fake to him. I don’t know if I believe him or not but I feel this warmness and excitement in my heart from the thought of having to introduce him to my parents as my boyfriend.

Dante’s handsome and he probably has the most amazing face I’ve ever seen on a man but he’s handsome in a dangerous kind of way. He has tattoos and an intensity about him that will definitely scare my parents and that’s exactly what I’m going for but I’ll have to convince my parents that Dante and I are serious and hopefully, they’ll leave me the hell alone.
