"What? What is it?" Lamia's voice was barely audible under the blood that was rushing through my head, between my ears.

I looked up at the Bear King, his face a deep shade of red, his silver eyes swirling and angry. Jeez, I hope to the goddess he didn't get the same message as me, but looking at his shaking body holding Lamia close to him, I knew he had.
