Max’s Apartment

           “Why didn’t you reach out to me before now?” Lisa gnawed.

           Max and Meliae have waited all night hoping to see Helen walk through the front door even if she’s still not herself. Their moments of waiting were over when the just risen sun peeped through the window ushering in a new day.

           Seeing that they have run out of options, Meliae suggested they summon Lisa. ‘Perhaps Lisa would know what to do,’ Meliae told Max.

           “We never know this would get this bad.” Max slightly lowered his head. A lot is still going on in her mind. How could this be? Why Helen? What exactly have the dark witches done this time to have access to the fallen angels?

           Lisa narrowed her gaze on Max. “You said a pentagram was scribed to her forehead?”
