Chapter 61. Fight Them - Spell Caster

“Now I see why the spell didn’t work,” Max said with his eyes still fixed on Asmodeus’ servant demons who has been stalking them for the past 15 minutes.

Some spells consist of only an incantation, but others have additional components as well. Casting a spell requires the use of specific tools and the correct ingredients. If the wrong ingredient is used, the spell won’t work. In most cases, it might harm the witch trying to cast the spell. To cast a certain spell requires specific actions to be performed, such as burning a piece of paper with specific things written on it.

Helen glanced at Max. “We should be concerned about ridding them,” she said walking back inside.

The only thing stopping the demons from invading the log cabin and ripping them to shreds is the apotropaic marks.

Max followed her cue and shuts the door behind him. “They will see us coming if we should charge them.”
