Chapter 78. An Elder's Intervention -Thud Sound

“What the hell!” Max exclaimed with mixed feelings.

           Something impossible is going on in his mind. Aren’t their powers to disappear locked out because of the presence of the god of death? Is impossible to find themselves back at the castle.

           Max stared around with disbelief to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating or Thanatos messing with their mind. The look on the faces of Jasmine, Helen, and Meliae tells it all. There’s no way in hell Thanatos would have let them get away that easily. After all none of them was able to use their powers to disappear.

           “Helen, is this your doing?” Jasmine stared with curiosity.

           Helen shook his head and cast a wide-eyed gaze on Jasmine. “Not my doing,” she said.

           “Then how did we get back here?” Meliae glanced at Helen.
