Chapter 200. The Job Offer

It was a snowy day, the wind was not strong but it was very cold.

Anna had prepared, she was wearing something warm and so was Sue. She stood on the sidewalk and asked the girl again, “What? I don’t get it.”

“We need you…I mean, I need you back at the company,” Sue explained.

“You do know that I was only at the company because Liam wanted to use me, right? I’m not qualified in any way or form. I literally have no degree or work experience.”

“I can understand the other parts, but you do have work experience, don’t you?” She chuckled, trying to make the situation lighter. “You worked with us for a month; you and Zac.”

Anna scoffed faintly and ran her hand through her hair. “Yeah, I guess you can say that. But let’s be serious, that’s a tech company, I have zero business being there.”

Sue sighed. “Anna, Liam isn’t in charge anymore, I am. And it’s not like I want you to be the COO or CEO again. I don’t. I just want you to work as my secretary.”
