Chapter 202. Somewhere

The person who was calling her was her family. To be specific, it was Kevin, her older brother.

She felt tears rush down her eyes and she could not help them. Maybe that was because she was already overwhelmed by the fact that she and Zac were now done.

And could not even be friends. 

But it was fair, it was. The guy deserved it if that was what he wanted, right?

Anna wiped at her eyes and cleared the evidence of the tears as she closed the distance between her and her family.

They were standing by a maroon van and her parents watched as she hugged her brother. “Oh my god, why are you guys here?” She chuckled as she tried to rein back her emotions. 

But it felt close to impossible. She just could not stop the tears. Her brother hugged her back. “Why wouldn’t we be here? You could have literally died because of your stubbornness. And with Victor dead, we realized that we could finally come and see you.”
