Chapter 28. Sleep Every Night with You

I was on fire. After years of pining for her, finally, I could get close to her. I couldn’t let go. It had become more of an addiction for me. I could keep her in the sanctity of my arms forever. She was more than I had ever imagined her to be. Ever since I had a taste of her, kissing her became my favorite pastime. One that I couldn’t live without. I had planned our first date meticulously, but Ralph started purposely riling me up, knowing that I had feelings for Amelia. I was close to all of them when I spent a few days there, after Amelia’s departure. 

These were the people who helped me cope with my grief. When Dad found me, he took me away with him. I had been so busy that I never got the time to go back and thank them. This was a part of my past I hadn’t told Amelia about. Maybe in the future, I would, but right now I just wanted to be with her. I just wanted to enjoy my time with her.
