Chapter 73. A Day Full of Surprises

Amelia’s POV 

I couldn’t wait to see what the people at the resort had planned for us. We freshened up and changed for the occasion as specified by the hotel staff. While I wore a white sundress, Tristan wore a white tee shirt and cargo. 

“Where are they taking us?” I asked Tristan, and he shrugged with an excited grin. We followed the attendant all the way around the lake to a beautiful, secluded place. There was a cascading little artificial pool with a waterfall. Different flowering plants, birds, and butterflies instantly attracted me to the place. The attendant took us to a private elevated dining area surrounded by a canopy of mango and avocado trees overlooking the pool and the waterfall. The whole place seemed like I was in a private sanctuary. I had never seen such a place in my life and I could see that Tristan too was amazed by the surrounding beauty.
