Chapter 6. Sleeping Together

Cassandra’s POV

He closed the distance between us in a split second and crashed his lips on mine.

The moment his mouth came down to meet mine, I knew I was lost. His fingers tangled in the hair at my nape as he tilted my head to dominate the kiss completely. It wasn’t a gentle kiss at all. It was a hungry, passionate, yet lingering kiss, which showed me he had missed me as much as I had missed him. My arms went around his neck for support, and I kissed him back with equal fervor.
