Chapter 24. Emerald's Wedding

Azura’s POV 

I was very excited for Emmy. We planned her wedding down to the last detail. I was her maid of honor, so I coordinated with her and Theo’s mom, Aunt Seraphina, to prepare for the wedding. The wedding was taking place in the backyard of their huge, sprawling mansion at Carnegie Hall. Theo had lived with his parents since his father was unwell, recovering from a severe lung problem. Theo’s brother too stayed with them. It was a magnificent four-storeyed building, with his parents occupying an entire floor. Theo also had a floor solely for him, while his brother lived on the top floor.

Aunt Seraphina had hired the decorators, and they coordinated with us. “Azura, you’re good at event management, dear,” said Aunt Seraphina as I blushed and thanked her.

“Seriously, why don’t you pursue it?” she asked.
