Claire’s POV 

Jason didn’t let me return to Aunt Emily’s house. He had all my stuff packed and shifted to his house.

“What will Aunt Emily think? She would be lonely without me,” I told him, but he didn’t pay attention.

“You can’t stay with her forever, love. You have to move in with me after marriage,” he said with an eye roll, as if explaining to a child. My cheeks colored, knowing that I would soon be married to him. I couldn’t imagine what being married to him would feel like.

“Why do you call me that?” I asked which I wanted to since the first time he called me ‘love’.

“Because I love you, you’re my love. Simple. I thought you’d figure it out,” he stated with an eye roll, but I grinned and went to hug him before he left for work. Wasn’t he adorable? Knowing that he had loved me for a long time made me fall more in love with him.
