Chapter 56. Stefan's Proposal

Annabelle’s POV 

“Come here, Anna. Stefan informed us about the handover of your inheritance. It’s an excellent decision to shift your dance institute here. A friend of mine owns a commercial building nearby. Do you want me to talk to her about renting it out to you?” asked Audrey. “Yes, I would love to see it, Mom,” I told her. “Fine, I’ll talk to her and get back to you,” said Audrey.

I was a little restless since it had been nearly fifteen minutes that I was here and yet I didn’t see Stefan or the boys anywhere. Has something important cropped up at work? Where did they all go?

“Umm, Martha, has Stefan left for work or something?” I asked hesitantly. Gran curbed the smile that was threatening to break out on her lips while Mom looked away, trying to avoid answering me. Martha looked uncomfortable.
