Chapter 57. Making It Up to Arielle

Stefan’s POV 

The whole week we basked in the glory of our newfound relationship. I took out time for Rosy and we went out on dates. Each time we explored fresh places, we enjoyed it more. With Arielle’s birthday coming up, this time she took the initiative. Buying stuff for Arielle’s surprise party, she made all the planning and completed all the preparations, all by herself. We invited all of Arielle’s old friends and new school friends. Finally, on the day of her birthday, she refused to go to school.

“You need to go to school,” I ordered her, but she wouldn’t listen at all.

“Why won’t you go to school, sweetie?” asked Rosy. Arielle shook her head vehemently while I looked at them.

“My friends make fun of me on my birthday,” said Arielle. I was stunned by her admission. “Why would they? Aren’t they your friends?” Rosy asked her, looking concerned. “Yes, but still they made fun of me on my birthday, every time,” said Arielle with tears in her eyes.
