Chapter 20. Was It a Dream?

Amelia’s POV

The sun’s rays streaming through the gap in the curtains had me squinting as I woke up. I smiled happily at the almost actual dreams I had of Tristan last night. I needed to get a grip on myself. Then I clutched my heart. Oh! Did I oversleep? Taking out my phone from underneath my pillow, I checked it was just 6 o’clock in the morning. 

‘Oh, thank God! I’m not late.’ I thought with relief. My eyes popped out seeing five messages and two missed calls from Tristan. They were all from last night.

Can we please meet now? -J

Are you ignoring me? - J

Baby doll, I just want to see you -J

Are you asleep? -J

I’m coming. -J

The last message made me sit up, totally alert, and all sleepiness disappeared from my eyes. Where was he coming to? Will he visit me at my shop today? I had no clue.
