Chapter 52. Changes

I stay watching as she sleeps in my bed, I expected her to freak out knowing what I did, but she didn't. Not even slightly. Lifting the sheet to cover her body, I get sorted and walk out, leaving her to sleep.

Walking into the kitchen, I can see they are already close to finishing dinner. Maybe I should wake her, as I doubt she had breakfast.

"Elmay, can you please move Lucia's stuff from her room to mine." I don't know where that came from, maybe so she won't be tempted to walk around the house naked under a dress again?

"Right away, Sir." She begins to leave.

"Don't wake her, please." I watch as she nods and leaves. Turning, I go through to my office. Just as I sit down, the door opens.

"Where were you?" I look up and see Lorenzo. He's hurt. "I called Marco!"

"I was busy Lorenzo. What is wrong?"
