Chapter 53. His Reaction

Waking alone, I look around the room. I'm still in Marco's room, which is unexpected. I thought he would have carried me back to mine.

Sighing, I climb from the bed, knowing I need to eat. Glancing around the floor, I don't see my dress. Walking to a door, I pull it open and stop. Bathroom, that won't help. Opening another door, I gasp.

It's almost as big as the bedroom. On one side of the room are Marco's clothes and footwear. I stare at the opposite side of the room, becoming confused when I see my clothes there.

Stepping in, I look at the mirror that covers the entire wall. There is a large seating area in the centre as well. Grabbing some of my underwear and a dress, I get ready and leave.

Walking down, I hear noise. I stop when I see Matteo with Iz.

"He's in his office." He smiles at me, and I quickly walk past him and enter the office.
