Chapter 61. His Warning

Lucia POV

I stay cuddled against Marco and fall asleep in his arms. When I wake up, I feel better than yesterday, but I'm still in bed with Marco wrapped around me. I'm going to have to get used to waking up without him in bed. I know that he mentioned before that anyone he dates got annoyed with him dissapearing constantly.

I can't expect him to be here all the time. Even if I want him to be, it isn't possible.

"Right, a few things." His words cause me to groan. I wish he didn't speak, it just snapped me back to reality.

"Can I get coffee first?" I open my eyes and peer up at him, his eyes are fixed on mine.

"Sure, but once we leave this bed, we're not returning to it." He insists.
