Chapter 91. Guests

Lucia POV

Sitting, I eat breakfast. I think back to this morning, I woke up alone, but I must have been exhausted as I can't remember after we fucked. I woke up all clean, the bedding changed and everything.

"Miss Salvadore." I look up and smile at Elmay.

"Lucia, please, Elmay."

She shakes her head. "You have a guest." She steps out of the way, and the person walks through the door. I watch as Hugh moves closer to me.

"Miss Salvadore, such a pleasure to meet you." His accent clearly screams he's Sicilian. I stand up and watch as he kisses my cheeks. "I'm Giovi Circaulo, I flew down once we got the news of the wedding."

"It's nice to meet you, Giovi," I say with a smile.

"May we talk?" He looks at me then to Hugh.

"Of course." I point to the seat, and we sit. His eyes go to Hugh. I feel like he wants Hugh gone.

"I'm not leaving. I have orders to stay with her." Hugh looks at him.
