Calix's silence was disturbed when James tried to say, "This is pretty clearly fucked up, isn't it?" Calix's wife went off with her cousin, and the two of them decided to go for a short walk outside the Lombardi mansion to talk about the unprecedented presence of Bella. "You didn't really anticipate that sort of thing, did you? Who would have thought that they'd be connected?" 

All Calix could do was stroke his forehead as the questions from James continued to flood through him. This is unquestionably a disaster that may well happen. And he is furious that it appears that the stars are planning to give him a royally fucked life once more. When will his bad luck come to an end, then?
