James is paying very close attention to Calix's reactions. The thing that he's saying is the solution to his friend's problem, but there is something extremely amiss now in this discussion. It should be an easy "yes" from his friend, but Calix is having some problems agreeing with him because he is certain that feelings are already involved with his friend.

"Maybe there are other possibilities other than that." Calix grumbled. "I mean, it would be unfair to Bella if we did just that."

"Unfair for Bella? When do you even care about how she feels? Are you forgetting that when you ended things with her, she kept on doing these ridiculous things, but you never cared?"

"That is different, James."

"Or perhaps it's time to take the opportunity to confess that you genuinely like Kaira. Why don't you just be honest about this for once? You love your wife, don't you?" James presses for an answer. He is a friend who will always be there for Calix as long as Calix remain
