RAVINE'S POV
My heart was beating out of my chest. I'm well aware of the one who kidnapped me. She singlehandedly took over the multiple bodyguards stationed outside. Even Ms. Smyers was a lost case in front of her.
She's one brutally strong woman.
I had no chance of survival.
But if I began to cry, it will only make her hurt me more. For the factor of... thrill.
I squeal when she snatches the itchy rag off my face. It takes me a few blinks to adjust to the dim lights. I discover I'm pushed into the drainage lines of the undercity. It was mushy and earthy smelling, something that revolted me.
"Welcome to where you belong, whore. How's your new home?" She says. I make a face.
"Who are you even talking to? Unlike you, I make money by hardwork. I don't steal, steel claws." I clap back. My words did not amuse her. I scream when she holds the inside of my cheeks with tongs, falling way too close to my face.
