Chapter 22. Skillful Enticement

"You shouldn't have fought them, Aaron." The woman calls behind him. Turns out, the guy who held his ankle slightly injured him with a ring knife. Aaron didn't notice the injury until he got back to her place and his feet felt wet.

He was disgusted by the blood, but Ravine being a woman who saw blood every month didn't care much. Except for the injury of course.

"It's going to turn septic if you left it like that. I understand you're strong." She says again. The boy was as rebellious as a teenage kid. Irony again, he was actually a teenager too.

"Let's get some rest." The woman softly kisses his lips and asks him to sleep beside her.

It was only eight in the evening. They haven't even had dinner.

"But im hungry." Says the growing young man.

"Hmm. Figured." She says as she takes her phone to order some of his favorite take out food.
