Chapter 48. He Needs to Make Things Work

Gavin's POV

I was all alone now, thinking of what I should do. Shantelle pulled Baron away and went to his unit. My feet were stuck, and I couldn’t move at all.

Earlier, Shantelle didn’t want to see me and also decided that she wouldn’t go home for a while. 

I made her upset because of the fake marriage. I didn’t know I would be in this big trouble when she found out about it.

I asked her to go home with me, but she still didn’t want it, so I decided to drive her where she temporarily stayed. I gladly obliged, but the direction she instructed me felt familiar.

Then, I noticed this was where Baron was living.

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. ‘How did this happen? Was there something going on between them?;

I was furious when I looked at Shantelle with that guy earlier. Baron knew what Shantelle was to my life, so how could he have done this to me?
