“I’m afraid, I can’t do that.” The teacher said with a warm smile. “Who are you again?” 

She knew that Max was the twin's father, perhaps it was because Carmela had strictly warned to not allow the children to go anywhere without her permission. 

“What? You don’t know me?” Max scoffed. “I’m their father.”

“I’m afraid, I was not informed that you’ll be the one to come pick the kids.” She replied, crossing her hands, “You’ll need to call their mother before I can leave them in your care.” 

“Are you a new teacher here?” Max asked already frustrated. “Where is their classroom teacher, Claudia?” 

Max looked around trying to see if he’d be able to spot Claudia, however, she was nowhere in sight. 

“See, Mr….You’ll have to call their mother before you can take the kids.” She held onto Hannah’s hand. “If you’ll excuse me, they need to return to their class.” 

She walked past Max with Hannah and Noah along with the other kids.&n
