Chapter 94

Max sneered, "Even if you know, what are you going to do about it? You don't have any proof." 

Carmela's hand dove into her purse, and she pulled out a stack of photos, tossing them in Max's face. "Deny it now," she challenged. 

Max's eyes widened as he raised the pictures, his face pale as he gazed at the evidence of his infidelity - photos of him and Nichole kissing, cuddling, and embracing. He covered his mouth, his hair disheveled as he brushed it back in disbelief. 

Carmela's voice was firm, "I'm going to divorce you, Max. Be ready." 

As she turned to walk away, Max grasped her arm, tears already welling up in his eyes. "Please, Carmela, I have my reasons... when you were in a vegetative state, I thought you would never wake up... everyone presumed you dead... It is a miracle you are even pregnant..." 

Carmela's expression remained unforgiving, her voice cold, "I don't want to hear any sad stories, Max. I'll never come back
