Chapter 15. The Slave (2)

James swallowed a lump in his throat when he heard Azza refer him as ‘slave.’ His eyes gleaned with horror as his thoughts wandered.

“We didn’t know they were with you alpha Azza, we will open the gate at once. Please follow us.” They bowed to him as a mark of courtesy.

Azza gestured for the men with him to throw his new prisoner into the same cart with James. He has captured another prisoner during his search for Lacey. This was the reason he’s just arriving now.

James watched as Azza’s men dragged a red-pale hideous creature toward the cart and finally tossed the creature into the cart. For a while, James stared at him. There’s a stricken resemblance with this creature with the ones that first captured him nights ago before Lacey saved him. The only difference with this same creature is his stature. Is quite different and looks like a dwarf with bald head, his thick eyeballs could be terrifying when gazed upon.
