Chapter 236. You Lied to Me!

“I will,” Mel replied as she bends beside the body bag. With haste, she unzips it revealing the content.

Jane wasn’t wrong. Her scent didn’t deceive her. She was certain of the scent she caught up with. It was the scent of Daniel. The scent she will never forget.

Daniel was lying weak and feeling feverish. The body bag contains wolfbane plant which are purple flowers that has a helmet shape.

“Get rid of the plant,” Jane ordered. The zip of the body bag wasn’t just socked in a liquid wolfbane but has the purple flowers inside of it. This explains why she couldn’t touch the body bag or even unzips it.

After Mel and Ruby has gotten rid of the wolfbane, they helped Daniel to his feet as they both led him to a large rock next to the fig tree. Letting him sit on his ass, he leans on the rock panting slowly and then heavily.
