Chapter 240. Mourn Her

Many supernatural books can summon supernatural beings but the being has to be trapped in a devil’s trap. This means, that before the summoning spell is recited, the devil’s trap must be in place and when the being appears, the being has to appear inside the devil’s trap in order not to harm the people around.

But the book of doom, it’s a very powerful spell book written with the blood of the fallen angels and its back made with the skin of a virgin man. Therefore, the devil’s trap isn’t needed. When the being is summoned with the book of doom, the being will be weak to fight or harm the people around.

Immediately Jane began reading from the book of doom. The ground they stood on began to shake. All the flaming torches affixed to the wall were blown out by a violent wind that came upon them. A flash of dark lightning flashed as hit the ground causing a rift on the ground. Thick red smoke started oozing out from the rift.
