Chapter 32. Made the Path
The terrified swordsman fired back at her. “Your fangs aren’t that scary and I bet your arse is stuck here with nowhere to go.”
“You will take me to my mother or I will have a taste of your blood too.” She released her grip on him and then pushed him to the ground.
Unknown to her the man reached out to a wooden stake that was strapped around his waist. As he was about to make a move against her, James snapped the man’s neck from behind. James's eyes turned blue as his heart started racing fast.
“You just killed the only source we have,” Lacey yelled.
“You are welcome.”
James pants heavily as one losing his strength. He leans against the horse to catch his breath but his heart kept racing fast.
