Chapter 49. Destroyed

Ares glances at Ozenzo and then said to the gods, “Get him out of here.”

Hastily, two gods sheathed their swords and dragged Ozenzo to his feet. He has been on his knee all this while and so is the rest of the warlocks who chose to surrender other than embracing death by Ares’ sword.

Outside the Log Cabin

The chief couldn’t endure the torment of the sun. He gave up and finally told James where Lacey is. “Behind the cabin, there’s a bunker. Inside the bunker lies your companion.”

James tossed him to the ground and quickly made his way to the bunker. On getting to the entrance of the bunker, he realized the iron door was locked with a chain. He didn’t have that time to go back to the chief for the key, so he blasted open the door with a fireball from his wand.
