Chapter 6. Escaped?

A pungent smell hit my nose as I regained consciousness. It was coming from the dirty cloth which had been used to cover my eyes. I had a mild headache and my mind was fuzzy. Nothing made sense. It was like I had been d*****d with something. I felt weak and I could barely move. My hands and legs were tied with ropes and I lay on a very hard wood that had been used as a seat. My body suddenly jerked forward and I fell face flat on the floor of the carriage I was in as it rocked back and forth along a rocky road. What the hell was going on?

I got up from the floor and sat back on the wood. I couldn't remember how I got myself into this situation. The only thing I could recall was my nose being with a wet cloth and seeing Paige and Kira unconscious on the ground. Was Paige alright? As much as I loathed Kira, I did not what her dead. Was I being kidnapped? Where were they taking me? 

All these questions ran through my head as the carriage suddenly stopped and foot
