"Mia is nowhere around the pack house, Jayden. We can’t find her,” Lauren panicked as she got into the house.

Jayden stood up from the chair in the living room. “What do you mean you can’t find her?” He questioned.

“None of her friends have seen her, and neither have the sentinels or scouts, Jay.” What are we going to do? “Oh, my goodness,” Lauren lamented as she paced the floor.

“That’s impossible. How come she was not seen by anyone? “Where would she have gone?” Jayden asked, getting worried too.

“I don’t know, I just want my daughter,” Lauren replied, and she reiterated it as she sat on the chair, panicking and thinking deeply.

“I’ve tried to communicate with her through the pack mind link, but I can’t reach her,” Jayden narrowed his eyes, wondering where his daughter had gone.

“I just want her home, alive and well,” Lauren responded.

“A search must be made immediately,” Jayden said as he turned to walk away.
